Hi, I'm Shira

I'm an English teacher in Ra'anana — Israeli with an Australian background — which means I bring both the rigor of the Israeli education system and the creative, fun-first approach that defines Australian schools.

I trained as a teacher in Australia and I'm certified by the Israeli Ministry of Education. For the past 15 years I've taught in school classrooms, and for the past three I've been running Everything English independently — because I realized that in small groups and private lessons, I can actually shape the experience around each child.

What I believe

Kids learn best when they're enjoying themselves. Not because they're spoiled — because that's literally how the brain absorbs language. I build every lesson around a game, a story, or a hands-on activity, so English goes in without the child even noticing they're learning.

I work with children from Gan Chova through Kita Vav — native English speakers who need to maintain and deepen the language, and kids learning English from scratch. Both groups make real progress. Just in different ways.
